|
Acute hemorrhages caused by meningiomas have been rarely encountered. We report a case of tentorial meningioma in 72- year-old woman who presented with acute subdural and intratumoral hemorrhage, and describe the computed tomography, magnetic resonance image findings. The prognosis of patients with meningiomas complicated by acute hemorrhage is generally poor. Surgical exploration is the most effective treatment and should be conducted before irreversible brain damage has occurred.
